Artistic Director Herci Marsden invites you to join The State Ballet of Rhode Island's Project Ballet Coffee Hour series, "From Studio to Stage", for an inside view of how a ballet is created, from the training of a dancer to the inspiration of a choreographer, with music, lecture, and visual performance… cheese and crackers, coffee and dessert!
Project Ballet Coffee Hour is a four-series, in-house family friendly event that takes place in the Company's 54-year-old historic ballet studio in Lincoln. It seeks to bring viewers an interactive and up-close look at the behind-the-scenes of a ballet, from costume design and fitting, music composition, choreography, and more, all free of charge to the public!
Reservation is required due to limited seating by phone (401) 334-2560 or by email
info@stateballet.com.
Coffee Hours are held at the Brae Crest School of Ballet
