The State Ballet of Rhode Island – Coppélia Auditions
Auditions for Coppélia will be held at the SBRI Rehearsal Studio, 52 Sherman Avenue, Lincoln, RI.
Youth and adult dancers are invited to attend one of the following sessions:
- Sunday, September 7 at 2:00 PM
- Monday, September 8, 5:00–6:00 PM (Ages 6–12)
- Saturday, September 13, 1:00 PM (Ages 6–12) and 1:45 PM (Ages 13 & up)
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your audition.

National Night Out
The State Ballet of Rhode Island was proud to participate in Lincoln’s National Night Out alongside so many wonderful community partners. Events like this remind us of the importance of coming together to celebrate, support, and strengthen our community.
A special thank you to the Lincoln Police Department for hosting such a meaningful event and for recognizing the role of local organizations in making Lincoln a safer and stronger place for all.

State Ballet has been awarded a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, through the Rhode Island Culture, Humanities, and Arts Recovery Grant (RI CHARG) program.
This program was made possible thanks to the National Endowment for the Arts, via funds from the federal American Rescue Plan Act.
Brae Crest School of Ballet
Founded in 1958, BCSB, is the official school of The State Ballet of Rhode Island, Director Herci Marsden.
Brae Crest School of Ballet offers year round programs for all ages and levels of experience.
Classes are taught in ballet technique, pointe, character, pas de deux, ballet variations. Class levels are scheduled for pre-rimary, beginners, intermediate, advanced and professional.
Come see what we have to offer or try one class first at our historic ballet studio in Lincoln.
Registration is ongoing throughout the year.

Season 64 Souvenir Book
Take the opportunity to view our Season 64 Souvenir Book. The book features information on the company’s history, our dancers, repetoire and much more.
You can also explore the State Ballet of Rhode Island’s “Historic Pointes” section that highlights accomplishments as far back as November 19, 1960. This is when the State Ballet of Rhode Island had it’s premiere performance in Rhode Island at Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
